maybe next time....
an interesting trip like this can be planned some time ahead in-order for the students to prepare!
I can imagine for the financial aspect will also be condition for some.
For my part I had to make a choice between:
a) booking my tickets for Thailand now (decision was two weeks ago), because of Chinese New Year and very scarce and evermore expensive tickets
or
b) sign-up for the tour not even (back then) knowing the costs or if it will take place at all....
Obviously I booked Thailand, after having to pay more than would have been necessary, due to the fact that the three different academic calenders on different NCKU websites (not counting the 2006 one on the homepage) did not coincide with the syllabus and end-term exams of one of my courses. Moreover my professor hadn't noticed the syllabus was off track until we mentioned it.
Here I am strongly suppressing further comments!
