How to manage your group

Dear Admin,
Where do I find the settings for managing my group (such as if people need to ask my permission to subscribe)?
Also, is it possible to make some posts in your group public ans some not?..

Groups edit tab
If you're the owner of that group, you can "edit" it, and set what ever you want over there...
To set how users join your group, set the "Subscription requests:" part to whatever you want it to be.

New Group
I started up a new group, 'Business Discussion Group'. It's showing up in the recent posts, but not on the main group list.

You can edit your group settings...
When you start a group you can select whether it should be visible or not. After you created the group, you can edit that setting if you're the group owner.
Either way, I changed that for your group, it should show up now,
