Best Career Performance!!! The title goes to NCKU graduates

From http://proj.ncku.edu.tw/research/news/e/20080606/1.html :
According to the latest survey, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) graduates had been ranked #1 for their best career performance among all graduates from national universities. In second and third places were graduates of National Taiwan University (NTU) and National Tsing Hwa University (NTHU). As for the private universities, Tamkang University topped others in the ranking, followed by Fu Jen Catholic University and Feng Chia University.
Global Views Monthly and 104 Job Bank released the results of the survey yesterday. 1,597 business owners and managers were asked to evaluate graduates from all universities and to pick the best three in national and private universities separately. The first, second and third places were given 3, 2 and 1 point respectively from each vote. The sum of points from all votes then determined the final ranking.
NCKU triumphed over NTU
NCKU stood out the ranking with 1,302 points in its career performance, which was far above NTU, which got 910 points. Among the private universities, Tamkang University totaled 1,002 points, followed by Fu Jen Catholic University with over 900 points and Feng Chia University with over 700 points. NCKU graduates also appeared the fastest in enhancing their abilities after entering the firms in the survey. Yuan Ze University was rewarded the best progress. "There are no significant differences for graduates from the top 5 national universities. However, complaints are heard from some business owners regarding NTU graduates for their attitudes toward supervisors and loyalties to the firms. " The Editor-in-Chief of Career Magazine noted. Mr. Chiu, the Marketing Director of 104 Job Bank also pointed out: "Even though the graduates from the national universities are considered equipped with adequate knowledge and abilities, their coordination skills and stabilities still need to be improved. The graduates from private universities are good at creativity, but they need to strengthen their International perspectives and abilities in foreign languages."
Ranking could be as a reminder for the professors and students
"We are not surprised with the great honor based on our diligence and realistic characters. However, we should never be complacent." said Dr. Woei-Shyan Lee, the secretary general of NCKU. Dr. Joyce Yen Feng, Dean of NTU Office of Student Affairs also commented: "Quite a few mentioned that NTU graduates are good in their specialized fields but are lack of coordination and positive work attitudes. The result could be used as a reminder for all our professors and students." Mr. Hsu, one of the NTU Department of History students recalled that he was surprised to realize he was not superior to vocational high-school students in dealing with customers and cash registers from his previous part-time job experiences at the food court. As for National Tsing Hwa University, National Taiwan Normal University and Yuan Ze University, they don't consider the result of the survey to be objective. An-Pan Lin, the secretary general of National Taiwan Normal University also said "The survey cannot reveal our graduates' career performance relevantly, as more than 60% of them have worked as school teachers."
