There are a total of 19 events in the National Sports Event 2008. Besides Kendo, wrestling, Tai-Chi, aikido, croquet, cricket, folklore sports, yuan-chi dance, there are nine events that are official events in World Games 2009, including power lifting, tchouk ball, tug of war, roller skating, sporting dance, beach volleyball, korfball, canoe polo, and Frisbee while two other events, slow softball and (national) marshal arts, are the invited items for performance in World Games 2009.
